Personally, don’t just look towards the prestige of the Uni when deciding on where to go. Analyze the course structure and see if its right for you! That was what I did and I have had no regrets since.
Obtaining a place is allot easier then getting into the Group of 8 universities. I managed to get in on a score of 84. That was slightly below the entrance requirement. I guess that’s where your study advisor will come in handy.
RMIT courses are usually longer than other university as it incorporates the co-operative program. This basically enables me to have an insight of what it is like to work in the accounting industry.
There isn’t much to complain about the life in Melbourne apart from the weather. But its really a city that is pretty easy to fall in love with. The city is really just filled with a diverse mix of people whom are really friendly!
RMIT has a very strong connection to the business community and really draws from this to provide the students the working experience in their co-operative year. This I feel will allow me to launch myself right into a job once I graduate.
